Many dieters do not correctly count the calories alcohol contains. Surprising a few alcoholic drinks can cause extensive damage to a diet plan as the calories alcohol holds can be more than expected as well as being not the best type pf calories so far as dieters are concerned. Also the type of calories in alcohol are earmarked for storage as fat by the body rather than being first and foremost as fuel. Or perhaps that alcohol calories in a pint of lager and a small sausage roll both have approximately 170 calories each? Regular drink of more than recommended daily alcohol limits can have n adverse effect on health as we all know but all those extra calories alcohol provides can also contribute to an expanding waistline.

An additional danger with drinking is that after a few pints or glasses of wine many drinkers get the munchies or their good intentions for weight loss go out the window. So as well as the calories alcohol drinkers consume which help to pile on the pounds, it also lowers resistance levels and so you are also more likely to eat satisfying fatty foods when you have had a few too many.
