How to make Healthy Eggnog
Eggnog is delicious festive drink but can be high in calories and fat but if you learn how to make healthy homemade eggnog you can enjoy this fantastic frothy delight without the guilt.

Rather than buying eggnog pre-made containing full sugar lemonade and added sugar make your own low calorie eggnog using this easy to make egg nog recipe. Our eggnog recipe includes a good portion of protein and calcium too!

Per serving approx 190 calories

Eggnog Ingredients

2 cups skimmed milk
½ cup fat free creamer
½ cup egg substitute
2 tbsp Splenda
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp rum or brandy

Preparation

  1. Mix together all the ingredients in a measuring jug until  thickened.
  2. Cover the jug and place in the fridge.
  3. Leave for two hours or until further thickened and serve.

Enjoy your homemade egg nog as alcoholic as you like and top with a glace cherry on a cocktail stick.
